The retired mjbk.space homepage, the bakery: Mojibake in Bodoni over a film of the shopfront, its olive tree and open door

The brief

The studio's own websites before this one. From 22 to 26 October 2026 the home was a bakery: the shopfront on film, the name and 'Baked Fresh In House' rising in turn, and the services on a menu, until the clay studio replaced it. Before it, an instrument panel whose line was 'Decoding ideas into form.' Both built with Next.js and served by Cloudflare Workers, holding the case studies and the Lab.

What we did

  • The bakery: the shopfront on film, Mojibake in Bodoni, and 'Baked Fresh In House' rising in its place
  • Steps to baking, a menu of the services, and an order ticket for a quote
  • The home as three cards that stack as you scroll, each sinking under the next
  • A Bodoni wordmark that decodes itself as the page opens
  • An instrument-panel look: soft raised keys, LEDs and read-outs
  • The Lab: interactive web pieces, each with the code to copy
  • Next.js on Cloudflare Workers, through OpenNext
  • Then two homepage concepts for the move to clay: Fired, one shot from the kiln floor through a 48-hour firing, and One of one, where every visit throws its own piece
